12 container cities are being established in Tunceli, warned by earthquake experts

The twenty container cities built within the scope of earthquake preparation works in the city center and seven districts of Tunceli have come to an end. Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu said, "Some scientists say that there will be a rupture, especially in the Erzincan-Bingöl line, Karlıova line, Yedisu line, and that there will be an intense rupture in a single piece, a high intensity rupture. Geological-geotechnical microzonation survey studies based on the zoning plan have started by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. In addition, work has been initiated to rebuild the earthquake-resistant Mutu Bridge, which connects Tunceli and Erzincan. On the other hand, it was decided to establish twenty container cities in Ovacık, Pülümür, Pertek, Nazımiye, Mazgirt, Çemişgezek and Hozat districts, especially in the city center. Work on the construction of 1122 containers has come to an end. Governor Tekbıyıkoğlu visited and inspected the completed container city area in the city center.
